In our effort to onboard great partners and support them in their web3 journey, we have onboarded Fabwelt, a gaming metaverse platform combining Defi, in-game NFTs and play to earn to create unique experiences for gamers.
Fabwelt integrates in-game NFT technology, Play to Earn and Defi right into the core of these games. In-game NFTs are not just collectables but strategic utilities that involve DEFI-like staking opportunities and in-game farming. All projects mostly use the NFT tech only as collectables, whereas Fabwelt is trying to increase the usecases. So imagine a multi-gaming ecosystem with various genres such as 3D First Person Shooter, Action-adventure, Simulation, Strategy, Fantasy and many more. All these are accessible on one platform while using in-game NFTs as assets, collectables and strategic utilities. This will let gamers have fun with friends or strangers while earning with the Play and Earn concept.
They have a community of more than 50,000 gamers and have planned to launch their 3rd game by 2022 end. They do multiple gaming tournaments and giveaways. They are already live with a 3D first-person shooter game called Arsenal, which is getting great reviews and responses from their community—hosting multiple esports tournaments to promote the game and getting gamers to engage with it at a larger scale.
Helping Fabwelt Onboard Users with Arcana Auth
Fabwelt is looking to create a common platform to onboard gamers in their multi-game ecosystem and use NFTs to a greater extent. The onboarding process currently involves traditional web3 onboarding, which creates a lot of friction with non-web3 native gamers.
Hence to scale their adoption, they will be using Arcana Auth SDK to implement a web3 authentication which has a very similar experience to web2 auth, to create a non-custodial wallet with users’ email IDs which can store their assets. This frictionless onboarding will reduce their bounce rate.
They will also use Arcana’s private NFTs infra to set up their marketplace. Private NFTs are built on top of Arcana’s Access Control. Private NFTs are owner-controlled NFTs that are just like standard NFTs with public image and metadata, but they also include an additional DID link to an encrypted file that only the owner of the NFT can decrypt. These NFTs can be minted on any EVM chain and traded on Fabwelt’s gaming marketplace.
We are happy to onboard them and help them grow. As part of our onboarding commitment, we will assist Fabwelt by supporting them in areas around product, growth and community building and helping them launch on Arcana’s Mainnet.
