Since announcing Arcana Network early this year, over 2000 developers have joined our waitlist to build privacy into their apps.

We are excited to announce the launch of our Alpha Testnet: Quantum Descent for our developers, along with a Bug Bounty Program for our community members to help test our SDKs.

This milestone gets us closer to realising our mission of building the privacy and storage layer for Ethereum with our Privacy Stack.

The Quantum Descent Testnet will focus on our Auth and Storage SDK, along with the developer dashboard. Look forward to seeing the interesting use-cases that developers will bring to life.

The purpose of this testnet is to gather feedback and test the robustness of our APIs under different use cases, we also want your feedback on the entire testnet experience. A total of $25,000 has been allocated for the Bug Bounty Program. If you do not have a use case in mind but are interested in participating, you can test our SDK’s API endpoints or report bugs in our developer dashboard. The reward will be graded based on the severity of the bug, and the priority level that will be assigned to the bug by Arcana’s team.

The testnet goes live on 17th November 2021, and the bug bounty will be live from 17th November to 17th December 2021 12AM IST.

We are shipping the below functionalities with this testnet:

Identity and Access Management

Add seamless user authentication and key generation with social login. No MetaMask or wallet is required.

Decentralised Storage

Store end-to-end encrypted data on a decentralized network.

End-to-End Encryption

Share encrypted data and define access policies through our DIDs. Access control helps share data with other apps and users, trust-free.

Non-custodial Key Management

Securely exchange, generate and store keys that belong to users without having to trust a 3rd party.

With the above, you can now build into your app the ability to:

Login — Allow users to sign up with social auth, frictionless UX

Share — Define permissions and share data with others on-chain with just an email ID or public address

Revoke — Remove access to shared data so they can no longer be downloaded and decrypted

Upload — Upload data with unique DIDs and add one or more users who can access it

Download — Download data from DID links, verify permission and decrypt data
